Tub Fun

So, the answer you have all been waiting for, Why did I have to clean the tub? The answer is... while watching the kids in the tub I noticed something besides toys in there with them. Unfortunately for me, multiple somethings. Everyone including the tub got cleaned again. If you cannot guess, it was the younger of the two who caused the problem. This is the second time, I hope that he understands not to do that anymore, daddy does not like cleaning up the mess. Always something exciting going on.

Brothers

Last weekend after Grandma and Pop-pop left, on the way home from dinner we looked in the back seat and saw this...

Not prompted by us, they were just holding hands. It is nice to see that considering the last two days has been filled with "mine, mine, mine" and "Stephen took that from me". They are starting to act more like brothers now. Christopher will have to toughen up a little bit if he does not want to be bowled over by Stephen. Stephen already knows how to throw his weight around and push and tug to get what he wants. Anytime we are cooking and he wants something from us he pushes himself between us and the counter and then pushes us away from the counter. He is a trip.

Cousin Visits

Cora visited a couple of weeks ago and the boys did a pretty good job keeping her entertained. Stephen showed a little of his jealous side anytime Cora was sitting with his mommy and daddy or playing with his toys (a first for him). Cora played with Stephen's fire truck and showed her mommy and daddy that she wants to walk. She made several trips across the floor pushing the fire truck before it was time for her to go home. It will not be long and she will be cruising the floors like her older cousins.


Side note for those that do not know, Stephen had tubes placed in his ears beginning of February and they have made a big difference. He is happier and his vocabulary has improved. We are really excited with the progress he has made since the tubes have been put in place. The tubes should stay in 6-12 months and will fall out on their own. After they fall out we will wait and see if he needs them again, hopefully he will have grown enough by then that they will no longer be needed.

Snow Day

The boys out enjoying the first real snow of winter (3/3/09).



Stevie had a cold but still felt well enough to step out on the deck and play in the snow for a little bit. He enjoyed being pulled around on the sled with his big brother. This is the second snow fall this winter that we were able to bring the sled out for, but the first where Stevie wanted to play.


Christopher had a good time helping daddy shovel using his special dustpan shovel. He has been talking about snow since October so I know he is glad to get out and play some. Hopefully the upcoming winters will have more snow than the last several.

Welcome

We wanted to try something new since our Picture of the Day page died a slow and painful death. Hopefully this will be easier to keep up and we will do a better job of posting. Hope you like it.
