Easter - Eggs, Hunts, and Dressing up.

This post is a bit late; but better late than never right?
Michael dying the eggs with the kids. He did a great job, and its amazing what you can use old plans and prints for. :)
Caitlynn really wanted to hold her eggs....Very Carefully.
Our Eggs. We have some flowers, some VT's, and even some Mickey Mouse Ears.
Caitlynn hunting eggs at home. Don't you love the head band?

Stephen found all of the eggs in the fort, top and bottom.
Christopher was supposed to challenge himself and look for the HARD ones. He had to look for ones that were hidden or up high.
A Successful Egg Hunt - Everyone has a full bucket.
Egg Hunt at church. This was the first time we went to this and it was a lot of fun. They did a very good job controlling the chaos.
Best Friends - most of the time.
My bucket... All Mine!
Dressed up and ready to go.

Snow, Snow, and Swings?

SNOW! We finally got some snow for 2013....

For some reason that meant it was time to play on the swings.
And Caitlynn showed that she has also outgrown her sled, among other things.  (She is 35" tall, and hit that mark 8+ months earlier than the boys by the way.)

Summer - with a Vengeance

On the first 100 degree day of the summer, Caitlynn wanted to wear a hat. But not just any hat. Her fleece puffball winter hat. That's my girl.
Michael and the boys braved the heat for a camping trip to Cunningham Falls State Park in Thurmont, MD. Caitlynn and I drove out on Saturday to spend the day with them.

Yes, Caitlynn had quite a bit of fun at the camp site. She loved all of the gravel and thought this chair needed a make-over.
When she's older we won't be posting pictures of her bottom... But this was too good to pass up.

A fireman is always a pyro at heart. Didn't you know that?
Thing One, Thing Two, and Thing Three.
Look at ME! No booster or highchair needed!

From December to May - What happened?

I can't believe we haven't posted since December! I guess the downside to having lots of things to blog about; is that you just don't have any time to write the blogs! We have had a crazy busy winter and spring with swim classes, sports (baseball for Chris and soccer for Stephen), choir practice, homework, etc. Mom and Dad have been just a bit busy at work too.  We will try to do a little better in the future, but for now here are a few shots from Christopher's baseball games this weekend. I will try posting again with video from Stephen's Cherub Choir performance this morning.

Christmas Morning 2011

Christmas this year was a lot of fun with the kids. They really enjoyed the presents from Mommy and Daddy; but once again "Santa" got all of the credit for the coolest presents.
Cookies and homemade peppermint bark for Santa along with a special note from Christopher.
The Christmas Tree after Santa's visit.

Santa loved the cookies and the bark. He also left the kids a note thanking them for the picture, the treats, and for being so good all year long.

Waiting at the top of the stairs...
Since Caitlynn is the youngest, she gets to go first. Of course the boys wanted to "help" her.
The boys loved their new shirts. :) So True!
One of Caitlynn's favorite presents. She is starting to really like soft cuddly friends.
Mommy and Daddy did get one cool present for the boys. New amphibious remote control cars. They can go everywhere but on the beach.
Santa brought the boys the one toy they really wanted. Razor Scooters. (When they saw Santa at the fire department he told them that helmets are required! In Stephen's case that would include knee pads, elbow pads, etc.)
And of course, Caitlynn found herself a box. So cool! She even took it for a walk.
Our littlest Elf.  (I love those jammies! :) )
