Caitlynn's Baptism

 This past Sunday Caitlynn was finally baptized. Michael's parents, his brother Kevin, our sister-in-law Amy, and our nieces Cora and Mackenzie were able to come up and join us for the special day.  Caitlynn did real well, she never cried. She was looking very serious at the Pastor when he started getting her head wet; but she never screamed.  (The boys behaved too. :) )

Gates, Towers, and a Pirate

Caitlynn thought it was time to remind Daddy that we still need a baby gate for the bottom of the stairs.  She hasn't tried to get up yet, but she's reaching for the second step, so its only a matter of time.

 

If only every day was like this...

 Daddy made the mega-tower with the cups, blocks, and cars. It made a spectacular sound when it came crashing down.

 

As usual in our house, we like to use things for multiple purposes... Toilet paper AND a baby toy. It was the perfect height for Caitlynn to practice pulling up on. 

And finally, if you are in our neighborhood for Halloween, watch out. Argh Matey... There are Pirates out there!

Company Picnics

Our company picnics were unfortunately scheduled for the same day this year. Since it was Arium's first, I wanted to go... so we decided to "Divide and Conquer". Michael picked Caitlynn and Christopher for his dates; and I got to take Stephen.  Stephen had a lot of fun playing on his own with bubbles (Thank you to Miss Robin!) and got very daring on the play ground. I guess because his brother wasn't there he felt like he could be brave on his own.  He also made several new little girlfriends. He's just like his Daddy when it comes to attracting the ladies. :)

 Caitlynn and Christopher had a lot of fun at Daddy's crab feast picnic. Caitlynn got her own mallet, which I think looks a little dangerous to me!  Christopher got try out his independence and was allowed to run around the whole area of the party (pavilion, play ground, etc.) on his own.  He came to check in with Daddy and recharge his batteries with some really good food.

First Post of the Soccer Season...

The game started out a little slow...Christopher was trying to catch some rain drops while he was waiting for the game to start.

He got a chance to play almost all of the positions; both offense and defense.

He was moving almost the entire game, running up and down the field.

Caitlynn enjoyed watching the game, but also playing with each other.

Later after the game, it was time to rest and snuggle on the couch.

And of course Daddy had to get his nap in with his little girl.

Now that school and sports have started again; life is even more hectic. Hope we can get more posts in... but we shall see!

And Everyone is back Home!

After three long weeks, the boys came back home from Grandma & Pop-pop's; and they are only just a little but spoiled. :) Caitlynn was very happy to have them back; and loves to watch them play around the house. She also likes to show off her new skills to them.

She has also mastered the arts of sitting and rolling; next maybe crawling, or she might go right to walking.

A Birthday & A Trip

Stephen celebrated his 4th Birthday on June 8th. He celebrated with a Birthday Chocolate Pudding and juice box. He was really excited with his presents; an airport for his Hot Wheels airplanes, a bell for his bike, and from Grandma and Pop-pop another Tonka dump truck. (You can never have enough you know.)



On Sunday, the boys headed down to spend the next few weeks at Grandma's. They should have a lot more fun down there playing with Grandma & Pop-pop and their cousins than they would if they stayed up here. Daddy doesn't have any time now to play because he's trying to get everything done around the house while Mommy is out of commission.

New Name...and New Pics

We finally came up with a nickname for Caitlynn; Cricket. So she has been officially added to the blog.
We had a busy week last week with TWO baseball games for Christopher. He did really well. And we made them a family affair with everyone going, even Mommy and Caitlynn. Christopher had his own cheering section.
